Recent Reading

Recently I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. I read this book over the summer and thought it was very good, there was no reason i just picked it up and read it because I liked Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. J.K Rowling did a very good job writing this book because she made you read to uncover the past and because she left you at a cliff hanger at just about every chapter. Overall this book was very much worth reading.

Animal Dreams

My favorite quote in Animal Dreams is by Loyd when he says "If you want sweet dreams you've got to live a sweet life." This is my favorite quote because I think that it means you have to live everyday to the fullest and forget about the past, because to me if you live in the past you are missing out on everything that is happening now and everything that is going to happen.
My favorite character in the book so far is Loyd. Loyd is my favorite character because he seems to me that he is a good person. He stopped cockfighting for Codi, he is always nice to her and all the other characters think he is a good guy too. Loyd also lives everyday to the fullest and is full of life just like his quote. Loyd also changed a lot from high school he used to be a jerk and was not really in control. Now Loyd has changed and has become an all around better person.
There are a lot of important scenes in the book but I think the most important one is when Hallie writes to Codi and tells her to stop complaining about her life and stop feeling sorry for herself. This is important because now I think the book is going to change and Codi will find her real identity and branch away from Hallie.

My Favorite Book

My favorite book is The Good, The Bad, &The Ugly by Steve Aschburner. This book is mainly about the Twins and how they became to be what they are now. At first it talks about the good things that happened to the organization like being moved here to Minnesota and winning the world series. It also talks about the bad times, for example having losing seasons and teamates not getting along. I really enjoyed this book because I love baseball and have always been a big fan of the Twins. This book really fills you in on everything that has happened in Twins history up to this point and has a lot of facts about the Twins.
