A Civil Action

Finding self is a main theme in the movie A Civil Action becuase the main character Jan Schlichtmann starts off the movie as a stubborn lawyer but progressess to be a more passionate person about the case. A Civil Action talks about finding self which according to the movie is opening up to feel others pain and sorrow. Schlichtmann feels the pain of the families that have lost their children and he is willing to risk all of his money and his clients money to repay the families losses. In conclusion this movie shows how someone can change their opinons on life due to others pain and suffering.
